General.   Visitor center NE of Kittitas off I-90.  It is about a mile north of the CN96/CN97 gridline and the parking lot is at 3500'.  There is excellent exposure in all directions.  The road up the hill to the visitor center is gated and per their website, "Gates along the Beacon Ridge Road are open April 1 to Nov. 30, from two hours before sunrise to two hours after sunset".  http://pse.com/aboutpse/ToursandRecreation/WildHorse/Pages/default.aspx   http://www.seattlemag.com/node/33924

Driving Directions.   It is located north of the Vantage Hiway which run roughly parallel with I-90 west of Vantage.  Your best bet is to set your GPS to find 25905 Vantage Hwy, Ellensburg, WA 98926
