General. This site is on a Forest Service road. It is about 20 minutes off I-90. This is an excellent location that brings up CN97 to both the east and west.
Driving Instructions (Eastbound):
Take Exit 54 – Hyak
Go left under overpass and turn right on Forest Road 4832
Follow nice paved road to end 2.3 miles
Continue to Y in road another 1.4 miles
Keep left on FR 4934 (right is 4832) Road Ys again in 3.3 miles
Keep right on FR 4934 (left is FR 4948)
Go 1.9 miles to intersection of FR 124 and FR 126 Turn left on FR 126
In 0.3 miles, road Ys Keep left (right turn is FR122 with gate) From this point follow all roads that go up.
Driving Instructions (Westbound):
Take Exit 62 – Stampede Pass, Kachess Lake
Go north 1.7 miles
Turn left on Forest Road 4934 – opposite “Lodge Creek Estates” sign
Go 4.4 miles to intersection of FR 124 and FR 126
Turn right on FR 126.
In 0.3 miles, road Ys. Keep left (right turn is FR122 with gate)
From this point follow all roads that go up.
