General.  The quickest high ground off of US 101 in CN77 puts you at nearly 2000 feet AMSL  and was good enough for DNR to establish a communications site at the top. The road to the com site is gated, but, just below the gate is a large filled-in area that is perfect for a large multi op station setup, or a rover with a 5th wheel to pull around in a big circle for turnaround.   The road up the side of the mountain is typical for DNR logging roads, well maintained, and not terribly steep or narrow.  

 

There was no noticeable RFI from any equipment located there.  It appears to have recently been developed into a communications site, and the pad previously mentioned may have been dirt removed from excavation at the site.  Propagation was better than expected to Mt. Crag and to K7CW...

and, again, a great unobstructed path South, for coastal tropo.
