General. About 2000' ASL, some trees and mountains around, but can work about a dozen CN87's on 144MHz.
Driving Instructions.
Take the Island Highway from Campbell River towards Port Hardy. About 25km North of Campbell River the road flattens out. There is an orange painted rock on the left, and "Logging Truck Crossing" sign. Take first road after the crossing sign to right. High clearance 2 wheel drive will do. The road is cross-ditched, so drive slowly. Follow the switchbacks, till you get to a recently logged area.
